Go Padres!!

On Saturday Jared and I went to our first major league baseball game!! The San Diego Padres were playing the New York Mets!! We didn't know any players on either team but it was still fun to go. Jared is a huge baseball player and baseball fan so it was really cool to be able to go and see a professional baseball game. We sat way up in the nose bleed section but it was still totally fun to watch. About the 6th inning we left our seats and went down and stood behind the seats on the lower levels to watch the rest of the game. We ended up standing behind home plate in the 9th inning and since it was late in the game a lot of people had left. The teams were tied so the game went into extra innings. The man working there let us sit in some of the seats right behind the plate. After we sat down, a player on the Padres hit a home run in the 10th inning to win the game!! It was such an awesome experience. Jared gave me a hard time because I forgot to bring my camera. He sarcastically said that I was such a great tourist. I felt really bad because the only pictures we got were the tiny, fuzzy pictures we could take with our phones! I guess I learned my lesson!!

We only have 3 and a half weeks left in San Diego. It's gone so fast so we're trying to do as much as we can. This weekend we are going surfing and maybe snorkeling. We are going to go to the zoo and up to LA. There's so much to do here and the weather is beautiful!! We're not looking forward to going back to Idaho where we've been told it's in the 40's!! And of course what ever else we do I will remember to bring my camera!
