We're Grown-Ups!!

Quite a bit has been going on in our little world the last couple of weeks. We've been pretty busy and received a few bits of good news!! We finally bought a washer and dryer!! As you can tell from the picture, they aren't brand new but the guy who sold them to us fixes them up with new parts and everything so we got the two of them for a really good price. We no longer have to bug Jared's parents to wash our clothes or give away our precious quarters to the laundromat. I love being able to throw in a load whenever I want!!! It's amazing what can make me happy these days.

My mom, sister, and brother came to visit for a week the beginning of July. My brother was headed to EFY in Rexburg so my sis and mom came and stayed with us. We had a ton of fun while they were here. Jared's family was in Nauvoo so Hannah really didn't have anyone to hang out with but us. We stayed in Rexburg for a few days with my uncle and his family. The rest of the week we hung out in Pocatello and just laughed. Hannah went to the pet store everyday to hold a dog (she missed her puppy at home) and wanted to hold a baby pig. We tried to catch one but weren't successful. Jared's family came home later that week and Bill caught one for Hannah and let her hold it. That little thing squirmed and squealed like you wouldn't believe!! It was great to see my family while they were here. They left and went to Utah last week and we joined them this past weekend for a family reunion. It saw aunts and uncles I hadn't seen in 7 years!! It was so awesome!! We love you guys so much!! Thanks for the best 2 weeks ever!!

On July 14th, Jared drove to Salt Lake and took his PT licensing exam. He was anxious but really glad to get it over with. It was even more exciting to find out 2 days later that he PASSED. So not only do we now have our own washer and dryer, but my hubby is a Licensed Physical Therapist. He started his job yesterday and seems to like it so far!!! He is working in Blackfoot which is about 20 minutes away so not far of a drive. He will learn some great skills that he can use later on in another clinic or on his own. I'm so proud of him and excited that we are done with school!!

The same week my mom was here I had my first ultrasound!! It was so amazing!! The sonographer was great and really made it such an incredible experience for us. And the ultrasound was so clear!! It made this pregnancy feel so much more real being able to see our baby on the screen. We found out that there's only one baby (phew!) and that it's going to be a BOY! Jared thought it was a boy and it thought the opposite. But we are so excited to add the 8th boy to the McKee side and the 1st to mine!! One of the most amazing things about my pregnancy has been feeling him move and wiggle around. He is quite the active little boy!! I love to just sit down and watch my tummy as he moves. It's so incredible to me. There were certain times during the ultrasound when I would see him move on the screen and feel him at the same time. I LOVE IT!!! The pregnancy part is still going well. No nasty side effects besides a few back aches and having to pee every hour!! I can't wait until November!! Also, more good news....they moved my due date up to Nov. 21. YAY!!!
