Sunny San Diego Summer

So Jared and I finally made it to San Diego. Jared started his affiliation almost 2 weeks ago and I have just been hanging out enjoying the beautiful weather. Jared is working at the UCSD Medical Center in the burn unit. He has come home with some pretty crazy stories. I am looking for a job and have a second interview tomorrow at Jamba Juice. Man I love that place. Now I'll know how to make all their amazing smoothies. We have 6 weeks left and are enjoying our work/vacation. We have seen some pretty cool things and are looking forward to hanging out at the beach for the holiday. We are headed to a Padres baseball game this weekend and have been down to the shore to see the naval ships and all the huge buildings. Crazy story...the other day there was a huge explosion at the new Hilton hotel they are building. It blew out 5 floors and several people were killed. Not sure exactly what happened but I couldn't believe it when I heard it. We also got to go to the San Diego temple last weekend. It is so beautiful and we only had to drive 15 min. It's so awesome!! Well we'll post more about our adventures in the sun later. Miss you all!!
